    L-Mould (Leuckhart's Embedding Brass Chrome Nickle Coated)  Microtome Accessory.
    Two L shaped pieces  of heavy Brass metal can be adjusted to make various size moulds.
    L- Moulds are kept on glass. Tissues is placed on the bottom and then the spaces field with the molten wax. The wax is cooled and solidified, L-moulds are removed.
    The brick like square with embeded  tissue is called paraffin block.
    Most laboratries use L-Moulds
