    Vintage
    Resistol Self-Conforming
    oval hat box, 14 1/2” x 13 1/4” x 6 3/4” high, dating to the 1950s or 1960s. Resistol name on a sticker on the side; the lid is held on by a plastic belt/strap with a brass buckle. The box comes complete with the cardboard platform inside for the proper upside-down storage of your Resistol fedora or homburg. A bonus inside is a little folder from Resistol titled,
    “Instructions—How to Take Care of Your Hat,”
    with suggestions on hat storage, brushing, renovation, etc. The box itself is in used condition, with some scuffs, scars, and slightly split seams, but other than that it is still quite usable.
