Vintage Germany Kohlert Winnenden Alto Saxophone

Description

Vintage Kohlert Winnenden Alto Saxophone in playing condition with pads having been replaced no more than a year or 2 old. Plastic resonators.
Features rolled tone holes, a husky voice and decent intonation.
This horn is incredibly fun to perform on. It projects very well and is a shoe in for jazz, rnb and rock.
Lacquer is mostly gone with lacquer at about 10% remaining. Engraving is still visible and deep.
Lacquer pitting inside bell and some very old dent repairs on bell bottom but are not very noticeable but worth mentioning.
No other repairs and dents show anywhere else. Looks to have well loved and maintained.
Pads looks a year or two old with plastic resonators for a husky warm tone.
Close to modern balanced action for ease of slipping from a modern horn to this vintage set up. No F#3 but with altissimo F# and up pops out easily. Has front F.
Comes in a good condition rectangular case although not original.
